Tasting Room FAQs 

Do I need a reservation if I just want to shop for olive oil and other items in your store?

No reservation is needed. You are welcome to visit our tasting room to purchase oil and other items during our business hours, from 11 am to 5 pm, Thursday through Monday. 

Do I need to make a reservation for olive oil tastings?

Reservations are not required but it’s recommended to ensure that our tasting room staff can assist you and have the allocated time available for your tasting experience.

How much are tasting fees, and do you ever waive them?

Tastings are $10 per person. The fee will be waived if you choose to join our Club Frantoio. Club Frantoio members receive complimentary tastings for up to five friends.

How much time should I allot for my tasting?

Due to the nature of the focused educational tastings, please allow 30-45 minutes for your tasting.

 What are the tasting room’s hours of operation?

Our tasting room is open from 11 am to 5 pm, with the last tasting reservation available at 4:15 pm.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to make your tasting or tour reservation for any reason, we ask that you cancel 48 hours ahead of time for a full refund.

Is there food available in the tasting room?

We don’t offer food in our tasting room, however you may enjoy your off premise food in our dedicated picnic area, provided you have a reservation. Please notify us in advance if you’d like to reserve the picnic area. Kindly remember to take your trash with you, as we don’t provide bins.

Additionally, please note that alcohol is not allowed.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, we are family friendly! We do ask that parents closely supervise their children to enhance the experience of other guests. If your child does not want to do the full olive oil tasting, we offer a special option for only $5, which includes a cup of Granny Smith apple slices and a small cup of ice cream. Call our tasting room if you would like to add this option.

 Do you allow dogs?

Dogs are welcome to visit for outdoor reservations and must remain on a leash and close to your table at all times. Service animals are allowed inside the tasting room.

Do you accept large groups?

Yes! We can only accommodate parties of up to 6 people for a standard reservation. Please do not book multiple reservations. Instead, please contact info@kilerridge.com so we can comfortably accommodate you.

Do you host events at your farm?

Occasionally, we host events featuring a food menu incorporating our extra virgin olive oils. Please note that alcohol is not permitted at our events. You can find tickets for our events under the Tours & Events tab on our website.

How do I access recipes that use your extra virgin olive oil?

Access our recipes by joining our newsletter, where we share 1-3 recipes each month. Our newsletter covers the latest sales, new releases, exclusive recipes, and more. Get ready for new dishes to try every month!

Shipping FAQs

My order is a gift. Can I add a personalized message for the recipient?

Absolutely! You can include a personalized message for the recipient during checkout. Simply look for the option on the bottom left of the checkout page to add your special message.

I have a Gift Card that was emailed to me - can I use it online?

Yes, on our checkout page, simply enter the gift card code sent to your email to apply it to your purchase. Please note that only gift cards purchased through our website are eligible for online use.

Physical gift cards purchased in our tasting room are valid for in-person purchases only.

Where do you ship your olive oil?

We ship within the United States via USPS Priority Mail.

When can I expect my order to ship?

Domestic deliveries typically arrive in 1-3 business days, depending on the starting and destination locations of your package. Please note that packaging is done on our open days, and typically not on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when our tasting room is closed.

My billing address is incorrect on my order, can you change it?

Once an order is placed we can not change the billing address for security reasons. If your billing address is incorrect but your order was processed (AKA you have received an order confirmation with an order number) the order will be picked up and shipped as normal and we do not send any information to the billing address on the order so no further action is required. However, if you would like to change the billing address the order will need to be canceled and re–entered.

My shipping address is incorrect in my order, can you change it?

We aim to pack and ship orders promptly. If you need to change your address, please call our tasting room at (805)400-1439 or email us at info@kilerridge.com promptly. However, we can’t assist if your order is already in the process of shipment.

My order is incorrect or my package is damaged, what now?

We apologize for any incorrect or damaged orders! Please notify us at info@kilerridge or call us at (805)400-1439 and we will get you a correct or replacement order ASAP! If your item was damaged, please notify us with a picture of the damaged item and accompanying shipping box.

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping for purchases of:

$15 or less = $10

$15.01 to $35 = $13

$35.01 to $119.99 = $18

$120 and over = free

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders $120 and over. Our free shipping guarantee is valid for one order to one address and cannot be combined for multiple orders shipping to different addresses.

I want to send the same gift to multiple people, can I enter multiple addresses at checkout?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to ship one order to multiple addresses. You’ll need to place a new order for each address you are shipping to. You can also send us an email with a list of addresses, and we can send you an invoice for payment. Please note that our free shipping guarantee is valid for one order to one address.
